Grooverider

Ask anyone in drum'n'bass what first inspired them to make music and Grooverider's name is sure to crop up. Not only has he notched up an incredible twelve years behind the decks, DJing everywhere from dingy illegal warehouse parties to huge outdoor festivals, but his legendary radio shows with longtime companion Fabio (first for Kiss FM and now Radio One FM) helped spread the gospel of drum'n'bass further and further afield. As resident at seminal London night Rage throughout its four year stint at Heaven, he personally oversaw dance music's evolution from acid house to techno and finally drum'n'bass.

Dillinja
Drum and Bass has had its share of stand-out producers over the years but only a few can lay claim to possessing such a truly influential, innovative and ever-evolving sound as Dillinja. Dillinja is a prolific producer and artist within the jungle and drum and bass scene. Since 1991, Dillinja has produced a number of tracks under both that and other aliases such as Suburban Knight, Cybotron, Trinity, Capone, Basic Influence, and The Specialist. Still bringing the Valve sound to club nights and events across the now highly evolved international Drum and Bass scene via DJ format, Dillinja is still a name recognised not only in the scene he helped define from 97', but across the entire Dance genre and has been for nearly three decades.

Dubwoofa
As a gnarly, spacious derivative of garage and dub bubbled away in London’s dimly lit clubs, few producers can claim to have been involved as heavily in the genres’ ascendance to its position as the most significant movement in UK electronic music as Dubwoofa. Gaining notoriety for his use of ghostly percussion and exceptional reductionism, via his involvement with seminal label Dub Police and through frequent appearances on stations like BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM and Scion AV, Dubwoofa gradually became one such imperative figure in the emergence of dubstep. Still inspired by the macabre behaviours of humanity as well as by concepts of nature and occultism, the Norwegian has quietly continued to produce his unique take on a sound which is still deeply rooted in UK dubstep.

Bigup
Bigup is a multigenerational DJ collectiv with deep roots in the Oslo dnb and jungle scene. Hitting the dancefloor with heavy basslines, rolling rhythms and syncopated breaks – the Bigup nights are guaranteed to take you on a journey through time from the atmospheric jungle of the early 90s to the futuristic grooves of contemporary drumandbass. Bigup consists of Tech, Fjell, Drunkfunk and Simon Peter. Four DJ’s with each their own style and groove, from vinyl to digital, from early jungle to the many modern subgenres of drum&bass.

Ben UFO

As one of the co-founders of Hessle Audio, Ben UFO has been responsible, alongside Pearson Sound and Pangaea, for some of the most varied and groundbreaking releases of recent years. However, as tastes have shifted and scenes have fragmented, Ben UFO's approach to the music and to Hessle Audio itself has developed. As BPMs have dropped and influences have broadened, so too has the vision of Ben UFO's DJing. He remains in a position to fully explore sounds both old and new, across the worlds of house and garage, dubstep and grime, and further into the past.

Normann
A DJ avoiding the ubiquitous producer title, Normann is defining his sound from the booth with sets for the likes of Villa and Jaeger. With foundations built on the minimal traditions, Normann bounces between elements of Deep House and Tech House, focusing on cold atmospheric mood building through his sets.

Ole HK

A rising star on Oslo’s DJ circuit, Ole has been a regular favourite at Jaeger. Associations with the sous-vide records crew, Finnebassen and Norman, sees Ole regular play amongst the city’s elite clubs and concepts and at Jaeger he can often be found playing on Sundays and Thursdays. Ole has a penchant for the minimal sounds that lean toward Techno and the deeper side of House, but can be heard playing across the board.

Schmooze & Brus
Schmooze & Brus are a force that originated from a student disco block-party in a backyard at Bislett in 2021. What started as a small gathering quickly evolved into a cultural movement that celebrates the love of groove and aims to diversify Oslo's nightlife. With their roots embedded in club-stages of venues like Ingensteds and Jaeger, Schmooze & Brus has become a cultural phenomenon, connecting young minds through their shared passion for music, dancing and unique journeys in disco, house, and techno.

Wallace

After spending years running club nights in Edinburgh, Wallace has since put all of his energy into his own musical journey. His sound has stemmed from a unique upbringing, as he was exposed to music from around the world thanks to his parents who loved music and nature respectively. After his debut at the legendary Panorama Bar he’s dj’ed extensively at festivals like Gottwood & Burning Man, combined with recent releases on Rhythm Section, CWPT, Studio Barnhus & Permanent Vacation as well as remixes for Gilles Peterson on Brownswood, make Wallace an essential one to watch!

Yu Su

Yu Su is a Kaifeng-born, Vancouver based musician, DJ, sound artist, and occasional chef. She works alone, performs with a band, and loves to host intentional food and listening experiences. Her music draws from house, dub, psychedelic rock, “fourth world” experimental and the sounds of her native country to create downtempo oddities and slow-burning club tracks that transcend time and place. This has also established her highly personalised style of storytelling as a DJ, constantly travelling through different genres without skipping a beat. She has previously released on Ninja Tune imprint Technicolor, Rvng Intl., People’s Potential Unlimited, Music From Memory, and her own China-based bié Records.

Hubbabubbaklubb (DJ set)

Norway’s miscreants of pop and house music misanthropes Hubbabubbaklubb are a band, a party concept, and a DJ collective. They are a gang of friends that started experimenting with music and wielding instruments and records like weapons, they are notorious for nefarious musical activities as they inhibit the characters from their music on stage and in the booth. Since releasing their well-received 2013 single Mopedbart, they’ve been a favourite obscure reference for DJs of a balearic naturelike Bill Brewster. Their members include Morten Skjæveland, Ollis Peter Hegrum, Jonas Waasa, Pål- and Ole Rokseth all artists and DJs in their own right, which if come together create magic in the studio and the booth.

g-HA & Olanskii

Two pivotal bodies in the sphere of Norwegian electronic music, g-HA & Olanskii are an event, a club, a DJ duo, and a musical authority for Norway. Individually adept as DJ, selectors and tastemaker, Ola “Olanskii” Smith-Simonsen and Geir “g-HA” Holger’s musical voices unified for Sunkissed, an events series that has become the backbone of Oslo’s electronic music scene and beyond.

Perel

For as long as she can remember, Annegret Fiedler has created electronic melodies to soundtrack her daydreams. Drawing on her early love for brooding synth pop and new wave, she became Perel, an electronic producer, vocalist and DJ who spent much of the 2010s shaping her sound – and to just praise. As well as being the first German artist to sign to James Murphy’s seminal dance- punk label DFA Records, Perel has performed internationally as a live act and DJ, from the floors of throbbing techno clubs to major city festivals across Europe. In an ever- evolving club scene with myriad faces, Perel stood out by singing over her DJ sets, bridging the mood of her own live sound with her selections. Her sound has a natural kinship with DFA: cosmic disco basslines undulate as thumping techno synths drive home the message of her hooks and refrains, ghostly vocalisations that speak of romance, dread and power.

Sunkissed

Sunkissed is a clubbing institution in Oslo. Since time immemorial it’s been the city’s connection to the electronic music scene, bringing DJs, live acts and labels to Norway’s clubbing community, as well as exporting some of Norway’s finest to the rest of the world. Berghain, Fabric, Robert Johnson and even the BBC have hosted Sunkissed parties abroad while the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Richie Hawtin and Ricciardo Villalobos number among their alumni. g-HA & Olanskii alongside Vinny Villbass, Ronny Rabalde, Daniel Vaz, Asbjørn E, A:G and Coltsfoot makeup this ever-evolving collective today, where they’ve made their new home at Jaeger in 2023.
